Funeral services for Mr. Roger Loftis, 69, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Overton County Nursing Home in Livingston, TN. He was born February 21, 1944, in Jackson County, TN, to the late John P. Loftis and America Ramsey Loftis. On December 31, 1969, he was married to Irene Loftis, who survives. He was a maintenance supervisor, and a member of the Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Jeffrey Loftis; 1 Granddaughter: Marissa Farmer; numerous Brothers, including Melvin Loftis; and numerous Sisters, including Reba Rayhorne and Gladys Zuanella. Survivors include his Wife: Irene Loftis of Cookeville, TN; 3 Sons: Anthony (Patty) Loftis of Cookeville, TN, Carl Daniel (Brenda) Call of Gainesboro, TN, and Jimmy (Teresa) Call of Cameron, OK; 2 Daughters: Judy Call of Panama, OK, and Karen Loftis of Memphis, TN; Grandchildren: Ashley Broome, Blake Call, Jeremy Call, Christopher Call, Josh Call, Whitney Call, Roy King, Kayla Loftis, Andrew Loftis, Ethan Williams, Kelsee Williams, and Macee Williams; Great Grandchildren: Case Call, Brock Call, and Zaylin Williams; and 1 Brother: Joe (Donna) Loftis of Gainesboro, TN.
