Roger Glen Netherton

Roger Glen Netherton was born June 15, 1958, in Jackson County, TN and he passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at his residence in Gainesboro, TN, at the age of 65.

He was the son of Marie Netherton and the late Willard Lee Netherton. He worked as a bus mechanic.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Brothers: Randy Netherton, Joe Netherton, and Jeffrey Netherton.

Survivors include his Sons: Nathan Netherton, Bobby Netherton, and Lucas (Braylin) Boles all of Gainesboro; Daughters: Tina (Paul) Sandlin of Cookeville; Joyce (Daniel) Poston of Gainesboro; and Kellie (Rickey) Meadows of Gainesboro; Brothers: Johnny (Lisa) Netherton of Gainesboro; and Charlie (Deb) Netherton of Dayton, OH; Sister: Regina (Gordon) Porterfield of Pleasant Shade; Mother: Marie Netherton of Gainesboro; Grandchildren: Katherine (Tomas) Key, Shelby (James Shelby) Richardson, Erica Busby, Haley Stafford, Logan Sandlin, Gabby Montgomery, Ryan Busby, Isa Montgomery, Mason Montgomery, Maggie Meadows, Liam Boles, Levi Boles, and Eli Stafford; and Great Grandchildren: Cooper Richardson, Lillian Allen, and Barrett Fox.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 P.M. – 8 P.M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
