Roger "Flop" Pippin

Graveside services for Roger Pippin, better known as “Flop”, 67, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at the Young Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. He passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born October 23, 1952, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Joe Polk Pippin and Ora D. Williams Pippin. He worked in construction. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Wife: Arlene Pippin; 1 Daughter: Ashley Pippin; 3 Brothers: Butch Pippin, Donnie Pippin, and Bill “Pokey” Pippin; and 2 Sisters: Linda and Thelma. Survivors include 3 Sons: Tommy Biggs of Gainesboro, TN, Donny Pippin of Baxter, TN, and Billy Pippin of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Jennifer Biggs of Baxter, TN, and Lindsay Pippin of Baxter, TN; and 7 Grandchildren. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
