Funeral services for Mr. Robert H. (Pocket) Hamlet, 71, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 Noon - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services Mr. Hamlet passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2008, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN. He was born March 18, 1936, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Roscoe Howard Hamlet and Sarah Elizabeth McCormick Hamlet Smith. He worked for the Metro - Nashville Sanitation Department, and was a member of the Gibson Avenue Church of Christ. Survivors include 1 Son: Robert E. Hamlet of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Glenda (Jack) Kelley of Gainesboro, TN; Lisa Bohanan of Cookeville, TN; and Christy Sands of Nashville, TN; 10 Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Grandchildren. Bro.
