Robert G. Taylor

Funeral services for Robert G. Taylor, 78, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at his residence. He was born May 20, 1943, in Marion, VA. He was the son of the late Robert H. Taylor. On December 9, 1988, he was married to Bearchie Taylor, who survives. He served in the U.S. Army for 28 years, and was a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ and the Jackson County Veterans Hall. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Sister. Survivors include his Wife: Bearchie Taylor of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Douglas (Sibyl) Taylor of MI; 1 Brother: Allen (Linda) Taylor of MI; Step-Sons: Rick (Shelly) Good of Gainesboro, TN; Johnny (Mary) Good, Johnny Rittenberry, and Issac Rittenberry, all of MI; Step-Daughters: Robin (Edward) Lint and Debbie Good, both of MI; Grandson: Jake Taylor of MI; other relatives, and many friends. Bro. John Mabery will officiate at the services.
