Robert Douglas Young

Memorial services for Robert Douglas Young, 82, of the Stone community of Jackson County, TN, will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 2 P.M. at the New Hope Baptist Church. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, April 10, 2021, from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born April 16, 1938, in Plymouth, MI, to the late Donly S. Young and Mabel Garnet Kincaid Young. On April 16, 1960, he was married to Dorothy Anne Young, who survives. He was a journalist, and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Brothers: Phillip (Jack) and Donly (Bud) Young. Survivors include his Wife: Dorothy Anne Young of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Scott Sheridan Young of Dunlap, TN, and Robert Douglas Young of Spring Lake, MI; and 2 Daughters: Dawn Renee Agee of Cookeville, TN, and Kimberly Anne Croisant of Whitleyville, TN. 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren also survive. Bro. Randy Heady will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Well Ministries by contacting the funeral home.
