Robert Clay Hamlet

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Clay Hamlet, 60, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. He passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born May 30, 1950, in Jackson County, TN, to the late B A Hamlet and Margie Allen Hamlet. On April 30, 1968, he was married to Linda Raines Hamlet, who survives. He was a disabled auto factory worker and carpenter, and a member of the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ. Survivors include his Wife: Linda Raines Hamlet of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Son: Barry Hamlet of Cookeville, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
