Funeral services for Mr. Robert C. Apple, 80, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015, at NHC Healthcare Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born September 20, 1934, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Bedford Apple and Cleo Brown Apple. On August 1, 1959, he was married to Marie Apple, who survives. He was a farmer, and a member of the Church of Christ. He served in the Tennessee National Guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Danny C. Apple; 1 Half-Brother: Doyle Apple; and 1 Half-Sister: Mildridge Brown. Survivors include his Wife: Marie Apple of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Dianne (Tommy) Head of Gainesboro, TN; 5 Grandchildren: Deanna Apple, Kristi (Matt) Donegean, Brooklyn Apple; and their mother: Denese Apply Bybee, Kayla (Garry) Fox, and Jared Head; and 2 Great Grandchildren: Tripp Fox and Cheyenne Fox.
