Robbie C. Jones

Robbie C.  Jones was born March 23, 1933, in Jackson County, TN. and she passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Mabry Healthcare and Rehab in Gainesboro at the age of 90.

She was the daughter of Tomie Lester Gentry and Wanda Katie Wolfe Gentry.  Mrs. Jones was a factory worker and enjoyed sewing. She was a member of the Gainesboro Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Artie Lee (Ma) Jones who passed away January 11, 2009; son Ricky Jones passed away December 18, 2001.

Survivors include her sons: Tony Jones and Tom Jones both of Gainesboro; daughter-in-law, Karen Long of Austin, Ky. Sister, Margie Jones of Gainesboro, TN; granddaughter, Brandi (Brandon) Hartman of Westmoreland; and two great grandsons: Lincoln and Peyton Hartman both of Westmoreland, TN. as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 4 pm until 8 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home and Friday 11 am to service time at 1 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm on Friday, December 15, 2023 in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Notgrass and Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.  Burial will follow in Haysville Cemetery located in Macon County, TN.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
