Funeral services for Mr. Rob Roy Flynt, 79, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler, TX. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Thursday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. He was born July 6, 1930, in Midland, TX, to the late Roy Flynt and Elsie Wolf Flynt. He was married to Susie Flynt, who survives. He was a heating and cooling salesman. He was a past member of the Hendersonville Methodist Church and a member of the Toastmasters Club. He was a voting precinct manager, and a member of the Republican Party. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Mary Jo Hobbs. Survivors include his Wife: Susie Flynt of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Sons: Rodney Flynt of Amarillo, TX, John (Cathy) Flynt of Gainesboro, TN, and Tim Flynt of Wilmington, OH; 4 Grandchildren: John (Lacie) Flynt, Jeremy Flynt, Rena Flynt, and Regina Flynt; 2 Great Grandchildren; and a Special Cousin: Ruby Faye Hintz of Paris, TX.
