Ricky E. Allen

Ricky Allen was born October 26, 1956 in Jackson County, TN and he passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the age of 65. Ricky was the son of Carlos Wesley Allen and Hazel Rush Thomas. He was a tree surgeon and a resident of the Center Grove Community of Jackson County. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Allen and sisters, Barbara Scurlock and Peggy Jones. Survivors include his son, Dustin (Tiffany) Allen of Cookeville; grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Tanner Anderson, Tristan Allen, Kaleigh Allen, Kade Allen, and Kreed Allen; brother in law, Mackie Jones of Gainesboro; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Scantland, Angela Brown, Brandon Jones, Brandy Scott, Teresa Craighead and Garry Allen. Visitation will be on Monday, April 11, 2022, 4-8 pm and on Tuesday, 10 am to 1 pm at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Larry Wilmoth officiating. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the business office of the funeral home.
