Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Burris, 51, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery in the New Salem community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016, in Gainesboro, TN. He was born July 3, 1964, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Mark Burris and Ann Burris. On August 7, 1999, he was married to Tamera S. Burris, who survives. He was a furniture factory worker, and loved hunting and fishing. He was affiliated with The Bridge Church in Gainesboro, TN. He was preceded in death by his Father: Mark Burris; his Mother and Step-Father: Ann Burris and Charlie Collier; 1 Brother: Phillip Burris; 1 Sister: Shelia Pirl; his Maternal Grandparents: Cordell and Hattie Thornton; and his Paternal Grandparents: Hayden and Eva Mae Burris. Survivors include his Wife: Tamera S. Burris of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Ricky Ryan Burris of Gainesboro, TN; 15 Nephews: Lance Pirl (Ashley Denson), Mark Burris, Bobby Bartlett, Patrick Bartlett, and Dustin Bartlett; and Chase, Jonathan, Jason, Jamie, Nathan, Jacob, Jack, Zach, Levi, and Brayden of Cumberland County, KY; 2 Uncles and Aunts: John and Linda Sparks, and Wade and Carolyn Burris; 3 Nieces: Shawana Bartlett, Elizabeth Vibbert, and Katie Vibbert; and 1 Sister: Glenda Bartlett of Gainesboro, TN. Many cousins, other family members, and many friends also survive. Bro. Ken Lewis and Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services.
