Funeral services for Mrs. Richmond Roberts Brown, 94, of Hermitage, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, March 4, 2016, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at her residence in Hermitage, TN. She was born November 4, 1921, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Henry Roberts and Sallie Rich Roberts. On April 1, 1949, she was married to the late Bob Taylor Brown, who passed away December 29, 2000. She was the former owner of Brown's 5 & 10 Store, and a member of the Corinth Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Ray Roberts and Harold Roberts; and 5 Sisters: Bryan Hall, Martha McCoin, Oka Dudney, Arlye Poteet, and Tommie Crowder. Survivors include 1 Daughter: Dorothy (Tommy) Clemons of Hermitage, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Lori (Andrew) Morris of Hermitage, TN; 2 Step Grandchildren: Jaree (Chad) Glass of Louisville, KY, and Tara White of Burlington, KY; 2 Great Grandchildren: A.J. Morris and Ruby Morris; and 4 Step Great Grandchildren: Will Glass, Sam Glass, Maddox White, and Lena White. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Alan Hutchison and Bro. Robert Gribble will officiate at the services.
