Memorial services for Mr. Richard "Donnie" Smith, 72, of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 8 P.M. on Friday, November 1, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 P.M. - 4 P. M., and again from 6 P.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at his residence. He was born October 25, 1941, in Jackson County, TN, to the late James Smith and Nettie Lee Smith. On April 8, 1961, he was married to Susan Smith, who survives. He was a sanitation truck driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Curtis Smith; and 1 Sister: Brenda Morris. Survivors include his Wife: Susan Smith of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN; 3 Sons: Monty (Rosie) Smith of Gainesboro, TN, Mitchell (Tonia) Smith of Baxter, TN, and Mark (Kim) Smith of Algood, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Krystal; Monty, Jr.; Carol; Mark, Jr.; Brandon; Ryan; and Meagan; 1 Great Grandchild: Abrielle; and 2 Brothers: Rodney (Judy) Smith of Gainesboro, TN, and Randy Smith of Dayton, OH.
