Rex Rad Spivey

Funeral services for Mr. Rex Rad Spivey, 71, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, January 7, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone Community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 12 noon until time of services. Mr. Spivey passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2007, at his residence in Gainesboro, Tennessee. He was born January 30, 1935, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Rad L. & Minnie Hix Spivey. Mr. Spivey was a retired factory worker at Aeroquip. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son: Timothy Trent Spivey; 4 Brothers: Tab Spivey, Lee Spivey, Ben Spivey, and Earl Spivey; and 2 Sisters: Sarah Murphy and Ettiolle Allen. Survivors include 1 Son and Daughter-in-Law: Mike & Michelle Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter and Son-in- Law: Teresa & Bobby Pruett of Cookeville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Brandon Pruett, Jessica Pruett, and Lucas Spivey; the mother of his children: Lane Spivey of Cookeville, TN; and 4 Sisters: Inez Cassetty of the North Springs community of Jackson County, TN; June Phillips of Gainesboro, TN; Verone Bybee of Gainesboro, TN; and Peggy Hall of Cookeville, TN. .
