Rev. M. Hammock

Funeral services for Rev. Hubert M. Hammock, 91, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, February 18, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Stacy Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 P.M. - 8 P.M., Sunday from 11 A.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 10 A. M. until time of services. Rev. Hammock passed away on Friday, February 15, 2008, at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. He was born April 22, 1916, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Porter Hammock and Mary Stacy Hammock. On May 10, 1934, he was married to the late Ardie Dillon Hammock, who passed away October 8, 2005. He was a custodian at the Jackson County Hospital, and a member of the Freewill Holiness Church. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Averdale Hammock; 1 Son: James Hammock; 2 Brothers: Woodrow Hammock and Ernest Crabtree; 2 Sisters: Odell Smith and Dorothy Dillon; 3 Sons-in- law: Franklin Phy, James Anderson, and Grover Barlow; 1 Granddaughter-in-law: Leona Hammock; and 1 Grandson- in-law: Paul Stacy. Survivors include 3 Sons and 2 Daughters-in-law: Ulis & Pauline Hammock, Truman & Glenda Hammock and Lonnie Hammock, all of Gainesboro, TN; 5 Daughters and 2 Sons-in- law: Truzine Phy of Algood, TN, Jean Anderson and Willadean & Dannie Isaacs, all of Gainesboro, TN, Thelma Barlow of Baxter, TN, and Betty and U.L. Coffman of Hilham, TN; 1 Daughter-in-law: Judy Hammock of Hilham, TN; 1 Sister: Gertrude Boles of Cookeville, TN; 20 Grandchildren, 30 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Rev.
