Funeral services for Mr. Reece Denson, 59, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at his residence. He was born June 2, 1958, in Woodbury, TN, to the late Henry Denson and Irene Denson. On January 23, 1993, he was married to Patricia Denson, who survives. He worked in factory maintenance. He loved hunting and fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter: Makenzie Allen; and 2 Brothers: Oscar Denson and Bobby Denson. Survivors include his Wife: Patricia Denson of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Step Sons: James Allen of Cookeville, TN, and Michael Allen of Jackson County, TN; 1 Step Daughter: Christal Allen of Jackson County, TN; 10 Step Grandchildren: Kelsie, Kylee, Jayton, Chloe, Caleb, Breana, Madison, Raelee, Bridget, and Kaylee; 3 Brothers: Wayne Denson, Michael Denson, and George Denson; 2 Sisters: Mary Carmack and Sara Jane Johnson; and 2 Special Friends: Ricky Haney and Ronnie Hunter. Bro. Bill Haney will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
