Funeral services for Mrs. Reda Gatlin, 64, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born February 8, 1955 in Harlin, KY to Mildred Roxie King Carroll and the late William Lee Carroll. She was a homemaker and caretaker, and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Father: William Lee Carroll; 2 Grandchildren: Toby Alexander and Reda Nicole Martinez; 1 Brother: Bob William Carroll; 2 Sisters: Katherine Rice and Melissa Stalnecker; and her First Husband: Bennie Charles Wallace. Survivors include her 4 Sons: Jeremiah Daniel Johnson of Cookeville, TN; Samuel Curly (Angela) Wallace of Sparta, TN; Robert Lynn Bristow of Baxter, TN; and Jayson Richard Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Daughters: Lora Lynn Bristow of Baxter, TN; Brandi Elizabeth Brown of Gainesboro, TN; Mickie Michelle (Michael) Vickers of Sparta, TN; and Kayla Leann Johnson of Cookeville, TN; 21 Grandchildren: Megan, Kayla, Charlie, Samantha, Tommy, Denton, Zaylan, Gracie, Destiny, Daniel, Madison, Alivia, Maci, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Persephone, Mason, Katherine, Lexus, Bailey, and Derrick; 3 Great Grandchildren: Brycen, Brayden, and Braelyn; 2 Brothers: Steve Carroll of KY; and Noble Carroll of Sparta, TN; 2 Sisters: Freda Soisson of OH; and Betty Salter of IL; and her Mother: Mildred Roxie King Carroll.
