Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Laycock Barham, 36, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Barham passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born April 8, 1973, in Livingston, TN, to James Laycock and Sandra Evitts. On April 5, 1996, she was married to Bretland Barham, who survives. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather: Eddie Hargis; and her Paternal Grandparents: Oscar and Meckle Laycock. Survivors include her Husband: Bretland Barham of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Zachary Lynn Barham of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Samantha Kay Laycock of Gainesboro, TN, and Lindsay Anna Barham of Gainesboro, TN; her Mother and Step-Father: Sandra Evitts and Mickey Evitts of Cookeville, TN; her Father and Step-Mother: James & Vickie Laycock of Livingston, TN; 1 Brother: Billy Laycock of Rickman, TN; and her Maternal Grandmother: Betty Hargis of Alpine, TN. Bro. Duane Hargis will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Barham family by contacting the funeral home.
