Reba Allen

Funeral services for Mrs. Reba B. Allen, 81, of Granville, Tennessee, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery on Shepardsville Hwy. in Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, July 14, 013 at the Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born November 3, 1931 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Ben F. and Lona V. Brown. On April 19, 1950, she was married to the late Earl Green "Cotton" Allen, who passed away on December 23, 1997. She was an administrative assistant with the Tennessee Department of Human Services. She was a member of the Flynns Creek Church of Christ, formerly the Forks of the Creek Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Earl Patrick Allen; 1 Brother: Ronnie Brown; and 1 Sister: Bernice Brown. Survivors include 1 Son: Tommy (Anna) Allen of Granville, TN; 1 Daughter: Beverly (Danny) Forkum of Cookeville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Jeff (Kristi) Allen of Celina, TN; Scotty (Elizabeth) Allen of Gainesboro, TN; and Abbie Wilson (Jason) Bryan of Brentwood, TN; 6 Great-Grandchildren: Michael Allen, Kassidy Allen, Austin Allen, Phillip Allen, Kaitlyn Allen, and Jayla Bryan; and 2 Sisters: Nell Anderson and Deborah Sheron, both of Gainesboro, TN.
