Raymond "Pappy" Anderson

Funeral services for Raymond "Pappy" Anderson, 66, of Jamestown, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown, TN. Burial will follow in the Crockett Cemetery in Fentress County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, and on Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown. He passed away on Monday, November 3, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born April 6, 1942, in Jackson County, TN, to Vida E. Anderson and the late H. Clay Anderson. On May 3, 1999, he was married to Betty Anderson, who survives. He was a contractor for Lakeside Termite and Pest Control. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Dillard and Cora Chaffin Anderson; and his Maternal Grandparents: James and Loma Gentry Chaffin. Survivors include his Wife: Betty Anderson of Jamestown, TN; his Mother: Vida E. Anderson of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Brothers: Kenneth (Audrey) Anderson and Jimmy (Linda) Anderson, all of Gainesboro, TN, and Garry (Carole) Anderson of Cookeville, TN; 1 Sister: Linda Dennis of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive. Bro. Garry Anderson and Bro. Kenneth Anderson will officiate at the services.
