Ray L. Stafford

Funeral services for Mr. Ray L. Stafford, 65, of Silver Point, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, March 28, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Stafford passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born June 12, 1943, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Charlie Herd and Rose Leaner Stafford. He was a factory employee and worked in construction. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include 2 Brothers: Billy E. Stafford and Luke E. Stafford, both of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Sisters: Ruth Sue Byers of Hendersonville, TN and Sara L. Herren of Silver Point, TN.
