Ray Dillard West

Funeral services for Mr. Ray Dillard West, 64, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, March 10, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 Noon - 9 P.M., and on Monday from 9 A.M until time of services. Mr. West passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born May 7, 1943, in Jackson County, Tennessee, to the late Bill and Daffo Hawkins West. On October 16, 1963, he was married to Carrie Irene West, who survives. He was a factory worker and a farmer, and a member of the Gainesboro First Baptist Church. Survivors include his Wife: Carrie Irene West of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son and Daughter-in-law: Randall and Missy West of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Tonya West of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Sydney West, Shelby Rae Kane, and Colby Dale Alexander; and 1 Brother and Sister-in- law: James and Faye West of Livingston, TN.
