Ralph Ray Ragland

Funeral services for Mr. Ralph Ray Ragland, 66, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Pleasant Hill community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12 Noon - 9 P. M., and Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Ragland passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born March 4, 1943, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Herbert Watson and Fronia Ann Vinson Ragland. On April 27, 1963, he was married to Judy Grace Ragland, who survives. He was a supervisor at Dacco, Inc. in Cookeville, TN. He was a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Ezell, Larry M., and Coy Ragland; and 1 Sister: Mary Alice Rush. Survivors include his Wife: Judy Grace Ragland of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Tony Lynn (Donna) Ragland and Joshua Dalton Ragland and fiance, Kayla Sisco, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Regina Marie (Billy) Kirby of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren: Amanda Goolsby, Dusty Ragland, Justin Dawes, Travis Ragland, Jessica Dawes, Tiffany Kirby, Tucker Kirby, Harley Kirby, and Kyler Ragland; 5 Great- Grandchildren: Alexis Ragland, Logan Goolsby, Dylan Ragland, Riley Goolsby, and Samantha Morgan Sturgill; 3 Brothers: Haskell (Betty) Ragland, Ted (M.B.) Ragland, and Donnie (Sandy) Ragland, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Moydene Robinson of East Pointe, MI. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
