Graveside services for Ralph J. Spivey, 79, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, December 5, 2011, at the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday, December 5, 2011 from 12 Noon until time to leave for graveside services. He passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at his residence in Gainesboro, TN. He was born August 4, 1932, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Louis Markum and Rosie Stafford Spivey. On January 11, 1947, he was married to the late Louise Spivey. He was a mechanic and a farmer. He was preceded in death by 1 Grandchild: Brandy Spivey; 1 Daughter-in-law: Chenna Spivey; 1 Sister; and 2 Brothers. Survivors include 3 Sons: Danny Lee (Shirley) Spivey of Cookeville, TN; Donnie Bruce (Susie) Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; and Ralphie Spivey of Cookeville, TN; 2 Daughters: Peggy (Randy) McBride of Cookeville, TN; and Linda (Stanley) Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Gene Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister-in-law: Grace Spivey of Gainesboro, TN; 15 Grandchildren; and 9 Great-grandchildren.
