Funeral services for Mr. Ralph "Coy" Heady, 74, of Cookeville, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, July 3, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Cookeville City Cemetery in Cookeville, TN. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born September 23, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Edd and Rosa Lee Heady. He was a truck driver and mechanic. He loved camping and fishing. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Charles Edward Heady and Randall Neal Heady; 1 Daughter: Teresa Charlene Heady; 2 Brothers: Joe Heady and Bobby Heady; and 1 Sister: Mary Margaret Prill. Survivors include His Wife: Bobbie Heady of Cookeville, TN; 4 Sons: Michael Lee Hammock of Livingston, TN; Jamie Ralph Heady of Cookeville, TN; Robert Matthew (Jessica) Heady of Clarksville, TN; and James Edward (Jody) Heady of Jackson, TN; 1 Daughter: Terrie Lynne (Bobby) Bohannon of Cookeville, TN; 3 Brothers: James Roland Heady, Danny Ray Heady, and Larry Wayne Heady; 4 Sisters: Pam Humphrey, Brenda Dill, Gayle Pharris, and Judy Heady. 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren also survive. Bro. Ronald Strong will officiate at the services.
