Funeral services for Mrs. Priscilla Marie Wheeler Appleby, age 40, of Burkesville, Kentucky, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10 A.M. - 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was born June 21, 1974, in Jackson County, TN, to Barbara Marie Goolsby Wheeler and the late Bobby Gene Wheeler. On December 21, 2008, she was married to Travis Appleby, who survives. She was a member of Highland Chapel United Methodist Church and a manager for Equity Group - Kentucky Division in Albany, Kentucky. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Eddie and Doris Wheeler; her maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Illa Goolsby; and her mother-in-law, Lois Appleby. Survivors include her mother, Barbara Marie Goolsby Wheeler of Gainesboro, Tennessee; her husband, Travis Appleby of Burkesville, Kentucky; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Linda Appleby of Burkesville, Kentucky; her children, Misty (and Shawn) Murphy of Grand Fork, North Dakota, Cody Appleby (and Brittany Everley) of Edmonton, Kentucky, Faith Appleby and Kaylee Appleby of Glasgow, Kentucky, Christian Appleby and Tyler Appleby of Burkesville, Kentucky; her brother, Eugene (and Connie) Wheeler of Gainesboro, Tennessee; her sister, Angelia Sue (and Scottie) Tucker of Cookeville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Chase Murphy, Carson Appleby and Gabriel Murphy; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
