Phyllis Story

Phyllis Story was born June 9, 1954, in Jackson County, TN, and she passed away at Quality Care Center in Lebanon, TN, on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the age of 67. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Barnes and Virgie Stacey Barnes. She worked for Rudys Sausage Company, and was a member of the Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Roger Barnes; and 3 Sisters: Laverne Harris, Sharon Newland, and Billie Carol Myres. Survivors include 1 Son: Christopher Story of Hermitage, TN; 1 Brother: Danny Barnes of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Sister: Linda Pherson of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 3 P.M. at the Stacy Cemetery in the Old Antioch community of Jackson County, with Bro. Bobby Scantland officiating. There will be no visitation or services at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Stacy Cemetery by contacting the funeral home.
