Funeral services for Phyllis June Henson Stafford, 67, of Pikeville, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015, at Bledsoe County Nursing Home in Pikeville, TN. She was born February 24, 1948, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Harvie Lee Henson and Georgia Mai Henson. She was a garment factory seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Son: Douglas Lee Stafford; 2 Brothers: James Henson and Onnie Lee Henson; 1 Granddaughter: Brittney Danielle Stafford; and 1 Sister: Dorothy Locke. Survivors include 1 Son: Shane (Kim) Stafford of Pikeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Shannon Stafford of Pikeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Patrick Johnston, Brooke Stafford, Emily Stafford, and Cody Stafford; 3 Brothers: Finis Henson, Billy (Linda) Henson, and Roy (Sherry) Henson, all of Gainesboro, TN; and 1 Sister: Doris (Lewis) Watts of McMinnville, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
