Phyllis Ann Jones

Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Ann Jones, 78, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery in the New Salem community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 P.M. - 9 P. M. and Wednesday from 12 noon until time of services. Mrs. Jones passed away on Monday, October 1, 2007, at her residence. She was born November 17, 1928, in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Millard and Florence Wells. She was married to Joe M. Jones, who survives. She was a retired factory worker at Russell Stover Candy Co. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her husband: Joe M. Jones of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sons: Wynn Weinberg of Bronson, MI, and Bob Buhr of Ft. Wayne, IN; 2 Daughters: Susan Jacene of Cookeville, TN, and Cathy Brown of Gainesboro, TN; her Step- mother: Mary Wells of Ft. Wayne, IN; 3 Grandchildren: Bryan Proffitt of Sparta, TN, Wesley Weinberg of Bronson, MI, and Delena Mace of Orland, IN; and 6 Great-Grandchildren: Tyler Proffitt, Jackie Proffitt, Layton Proffitt, Alyson Proffitt, Jager Mace, and Sierra Weinberg.
