Phillip Ray Brewer,

Graveside services for Phillip Ray Brewer, Sr., 74, of Hilham, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Sunday, August 6, 2017, at the Turkeytown Cemetery in Hilham, TN. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. He passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017, at his residence. He was born February 25, 1943, in Sand Gap, KY, to the late Sherman and Ellen Bowman Brewer. He was a carpenter. He was an avid Dale Earnhardt, Sr. #3 fan; an old NASCAR fan and collector. He enjoyed playing billiards and pool and won numerous tournaments in the Ohio area. He was also a great outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and hunting. He was preceded in death by his Parents: Sherman and Ellen Bowman Brewer; 4 Brothers: Grant and Charles (both infants), Dan Robert Brewer and Wade Lee Brewer; and 2 Sisters: Marie Hounshell and Willa Mae Seaborn. Survivors include His Wife: Ruth Brewer; 1 Son: Phillip Brewer, Jr.; 1 Daughter: Lisa (Tom) Bauer; 2 Brothers: Paul and Ben; and 1 Sister: Jean. Other relatives and friends also survive. Bro.
