Peggy Herron Slagle

Mrs. Peggy Ann Herron Slagle, 79, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013, at her residence. The family has chosen cremation, with a private family service to be held at a later time. She was born November 15, 1933, in Madison, TN, to the late Richard Elmo Herron and Hazel Elizabeth Manning Herron. She was married to the late Kenneth D. Slagle. She worked in management in the food industry. Survivors include 2 Sons: David Clancy of Franklin, TN, and Michael (Juanita) Clancy of Franklin, TN; 2 Daughters: Patricia Clancy of Newport News, VA, and Michelle Slagle Morris and partner, Tony McCormick, of Gainesboro, TN; and 4 Grandsons: Skyler (Dina) Morris of Gurnee, IL, Trevor (Liz) Morris of Round Lake, IL, Tyler Morris of Waukegan, IL, and Spencer Morris, R.O.T.C. at Florida State University.
