Peggy Ann Scott

Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Ann Smallwood Scott, 64, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, November 8, at the Harmony Church of Christ in the Harmony Community of Jackson Co. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson Co. The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until 9 P.M. and Sunday from noon until 9 P.M. at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. On Monday, the body will lie in state at the Harmony Church of Christ from noon until time of services. Mrs. Scott passed away on Friday, November 5, 2004, at the Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, Tennessee. She was born July 2, 1940, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Dock Alexander Smallwood and Nora Elkins Smallwood. Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Mark Smallwood, Willard Smallwood, and Carl Boyd Smallwood; and 1 Sister: Margaret Hensley. Her family includes 2 Sons: Jeff (& Reba) Scott and Chris Scott, all of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Julie Scott King of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Daniel Scott of Jamestown, TN and Tyler Scott of Hilham, TN; 2 Brothers: Lewis Smallwood of Sandusky, Ohio, and Morris Rudolph Smallwood of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Mildred Elkins of Gainesboro, TN, and Ruth Brown of Sandusky, Ohio.
