Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl D. Brown, 93, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 P.M. - 9 P.M. and on Saturday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville. She was born January 23, 1925, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late George Freeman and Carrie Freeman. On May 17, 1942, she was married to the late Willard Brown. She was a garment factory worker and enjoyed keeping a spotless clean house. She was a member of the Richmond Chapel Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Deborah Kaye Clark; 1 Grandson; and 1 Sister: Ann Freeman. Survivors include 1 Son: Thomas (Geneva) Brown of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Linda (Bill) Mahaney of Livingston, TN; 6 Grandchildren: Billy Mahaney, Teresa McCormick, Tommy Brown, Tony Brown, Branson Clark, and Matthew Mahaney; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
