Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Pippin Allen, age 74, a resident of the Shiloh community of Jackson County, TN, will be held Sunday, April 27, 2008, at 2 P.M. at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John Young Cemetery in the Shiloh community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and on Sunday from 10 A.M. until time of services. Mrs. Allen passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008, at her residence. She was born May 7, 1933, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Leonard B. and Mildred Chaffin Pippin. On March 2, 1951, she was married to the late Arbie J. Allen, who passed away December 19, 2004. She was a former supervisor at Mills Linen Service, and a member of the Shiloh Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Shirley Curtis. Survivors include 2 Daughters and Sons-in-Law: Carol & Danny Davis of the Shiloh community of Jackson County; and Annette & Paul Brewer of Cookeville, TN; 4 Grandchildren: James J. (Laura) Davis, Jimmy Paul (Tina) Davis, Joshua (Laci) Brewer, & Amanda Brewer (Todd) Rawlston; 5 Great Grandchildren: Jared Davis, Savannah Davis, Justin Davis, Daniel Davis & Jacob Rawlston; 2 Brothers: Johnny & Jewell Pippin, and Henry & Lora Pippin, all of the Shiloh community of Jackson County; and 1 Sister: Mary Sue & James Allen of the Shiloh community of Jackson County.
