Memorial services for Mr. Paul Mathis, 58, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. The family has chosen cremation. Interment will be at the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Mathis passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2007, at his residence. He was born February 16, 1949, in Livingston, TN, to the late Virgil and Dorothy Spurlock Mathis. He was a general laborer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister: Elaine Mathis; 2 Nephews: Don C. Ogle, Jr. and David Lee Forkum; and 1 Great Niece: Anna Forkum Survivors include 2 Sisters: Dolores Ogle of Gainesboro, TN and Twin Sister Paulette Walz of Leesburg, FL; 2 Nieces: Cynthia Manis of Oak Ridge, TN and Kathy Hogue of Cookeville, TN; 4 Great Nephews: Christopher Jinks of Gatlinburg, TN, Joseph and James Hogue of Cookeville, TN and Lee Forkum of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Great Nieces: Mary Katherine Hogue of KY, Sara Forkum and Kayla Roberts, both of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Great Great Nephew: Cameron Jinks of Gatlinburg, TN; and 1 Great Great Niece: Krystal Jinks of Gatlinburg, TN.
