Funeral services for Mr. Paul Edward Barlow, 87, of the Burristown community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community of Jackson County. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 9 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. He was born December 1, 1927 in Jackson County, TN, to the late Dallas and Alvis Strong Barlow. On August 9, 1944, he was married to Myrtie Elease Hix Barlow, who passed away on February 26, 2008. He was a retired custodian from the Gainesboro Elementary School, he had worked at the Jackson County Co-Op, and was a member of the Burristown Church of Christ. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter: Frances Louise Barlow; Step-Mother: Martha Barlow; 3 Brothers: Earl Barlow, Gene Barlow, and James Barlow. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Sue Wylie of Livingston, TN and Janice Barlow of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Dewayne (Gena) Wylie of Orlando, FL; Michael (Andrea) Wylie of Cookeville, TN; and Stacey Wylie of Baxter, TN; 6 Great-Grandchildren: Seth, Nathan, Jessica, Kyle, and Dustin Wylie and Skylar Myrick. 6 Great-Great Grandchildren: Jonathan and Jeremiah Ledbetter, Lilly and Kierra Wylie, Willow Myrick, and Lexi Wylie.
