Funeral services for Mrs. Patty Gail Pharris, 72, of Whitleyville, TN, will be held at 3 P.M. on Monday, August 14, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and Monday from 11 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 18, 1944, in Sequatchie County, TN, to the late Daniel Ritter and Beatrice Ritter. On August 3, 1962, she was married to the late Neal Pharris. She was a teacher assistant and director at North Springs Head Start Center. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Grandson: Derek Ragland. Survivors include 2 Daughters: Lisa Gail (Randy) Ragland of Whitleyville, TN, and Karen (Mike) Head of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Nikki Gail Ragland; 1 Brother: Loyd Neal (Angie) Ritter of Red Boiling Springs, TN; and 1 Sister: Danny Sue Lewis of Hermitage Springs, TN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson will officiate at the services.
