Funeral services for Mrs. Patty Ann Whitaker, 69, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born November 11, 1945, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Logan Rush and Ova Anderson Daniels. On March 14, 1960, she was married to the late James Donald Whitaker, who passed away August 5, 2002. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Dudneys Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Grandchild: Michael Donald Whitaker, Jr.; and 1 Nephew: Chris Heady. Survivors include 1 Son: Mike (Mary) Whitaker of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Step-Son: Jimmy (Freda) Whitaker of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Sandra (Jack) Vann of Lewisburg, TN; 1 Step-Daughter: Debbie Whitaker of Gainesboro, TN; 9 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Duane Rush of Cookeville, TN, and Bobby Rodgers of Sparta, TN; 5 Sisters: Judy (Sam) Heady and Sherrie (Bill) Trisdale, all of Gainesboro, TN, Carol (Jim) Duncan of Baxter, TN, Jenny (Ben) Anderson of Gainesboro, TN, and Dean Disanti of AL; and her Special Friend: Charlene Brewington of Baxter, TN.
