Funeral services for Patsy Smith Scott, 69, of the Poplar Grove community of Jackson County, TN, will be held at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M., and on Tuesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston, TN. She was born September 5, 1948, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Robert T. Smith and Doris Shepherd Smith. On February 19, 1971, she was married to the late Billy R. Scott, who passed away December 16, 2012. She was a retired teacher's assistant with the Foxxy Fours, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Great Nephew: Jaxon Lynn. Survivors include 1 Son: Gregory Scott of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Brother: Robert T. "Bobby" Smith, Jr. and wife, Sharon, of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Nieces: Rebecca (Brandon) Howell and Jessica (Chris) Lynn, all of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Great Nephews: Caleb Howell and Brantley Lynn; 2 Great Nieces: Raegan Howell and Kaelyn Lynn; and 2 Sisters-in-Law: Aline Allen and Frances Luck, both of Gainesboro, TN.
