Patsy Ann Kaminski

February 18, 1948 – April 6, 2026

Age 78

Patsy Ann Reeves Kaminski, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026.

She was born on February 18, 1948, to Willie Mae Reeves and the late Howard Reeves.

Patsy was the beloved wife of Kenneth Kaminski and a devoted mother to Mark Kaminski and Dale Kaminski (Kristen). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Zachary, Adam, and Lily, who brought her immense joy.

She is also survived by her loving mother, Willie Mae Reeves; her siblings, Roger Reeves (the late Sharon Reeves) and Linda Raynovic (Jim Raynovic); and her cherished nieces and nephews, Lonna Weidemann, Rodney Reeves (Jenny), and Ryan Reeves (Tammy). Patsy was also a dear cousin and a loyal friend to many. Her faith and her family meant everything to her, and she lived her life as a reflection of both. Patsy had a gift for bringing people together—especially around the table. She loved to cook, share meals with those she loved, and enjoy a good glass of Chardonnay (Mostly out of a box) Not only did Patsy cherish her family, but she also cherished her family history. She spent decades meticulously tracing her family’s deep ties to Jackson County and beyond. She was happiest when digging in the old records in Gainesboro or at the Tennessee Archives, gleaning any information she could find to build out her family tree. Her thousands of hours of research is preserved in an immense personal family archive, thoroughly documenting the history of the family back to their early arrival in the colonies.

Patsy loved to cook for the family. She put together a cookbook of family recipes that she hoped would be remembered. Her hope has come true as her food has become a part of us. These dishes that are intertwined with our memories and will live for generations as they are prepared by her children and grandchildren. Patsy understood that the hard work of hospitality was a small price to pay for the strengthening of family bonds that took place around her table. Her example inspires us today to imitate her loving touch in the kitchen.

Memorial service will be on Thursday April 30 at 9:30 am  at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church located at 421 N Washington Ave, Cookeville, TN 38501.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her strong faith, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
