Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Ann Gentry, 76, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 6 P.M. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Cookeville, TN. Burial will be on Friday at 2 P.M. in the Long Branch Cemetery in the Roaring River community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 12 Noon until time of services. She passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019, at her residence. She was born October 20, 1942, in Mayfield, KY, to the late Ernest Roscoe Goodwin and Martha Jerline Goodwin. On December 19, 1959, she was married to James Gentry, who survives. She was a registered nurse, and a member of the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Ted Mason Goodwin. Survivors include her Husband: James Gentry of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Son: Chet (Pam) Gentry of Cookeville, TN; 1 Daughter: Tracy (John) Kiser of Fulshear, TX; 6 Grandchildren: Nathan (Megan) Gentry of Cookeville, TN, Ben Gentry deployed U.S.M.C. in Japan, Jake Gentry of Cookeville, TN, Philip Gentry of Cookeville, TN, Clara (Matt) Boepple of Fulshear, TX, and Jordyn (Louis) Judge of Marietta, GA; 3 Great Grandchildren: Gwen Gentry, Amelia Gentry, and Evelynn Rose Boepple; 1 Sister: Judy (Vance) Weatherspoon of Waverly, TN; and 1 Sister in Law: Charlotte Gentry Burks of Monterey, TN. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Kelly Campbell and Bro. Buddy Johnson will officiate at the services.
