Palo Mansell

Funeral services for Mr. Palo Mansell, 72, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, October 19, 2008, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Mansell Cemetery in the Freewill community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 9 A.M. until time of services. Mr. Mansell passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008, at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage, TN. He was born October 4, 1936, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Huston and Ava Ballard Mansell. He was a truck driver, and a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sisters: Rettie Ballard and Elene Adams. Survivors include 1 Son: Tommy Mansell of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Daughters: Annette Barham and Pamela Johnson, both of Cookeville, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Kayla Allen, Chase Bunch, and Jayden Gentry; and 3 Sisters: Audra Brown of Shelbyville, TN, Linda Pearl Mayberry of Gainesboro, TN, and Cathy Jackson of Lafayette, TN. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Alan Judd will officiate at the services. Memorial donations may be made to the Mansell Cemetery Fund by contacting the funeral home.
