Funeral services for Mrs. Ozina G. Buck, 93, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 12 noon on Monday, November 27, 2006, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Pleasant Hill community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 - 9 P.M., Sunday from 10 A.M. - 9 P.M., and Monday from 9 A.M. - time of services at the funeral home. Mrs. Buck passed away on Friday, November 24, 2006, at the Mabry Health Care and Rehab Center in Gainesboro, TN. She was born July 28, 1913, in Jackson County to the late Bedford Phillips & Nannie Lou Mercer Phillips. On October 16, 1931, she was married to the late Byrd C. Buck, who passed away on December 20, 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 6 Brothers: James, Charlie, Braxton, Camel, Dalton, and Hershel Phillips; and 1 Sister: Betty Hix. Survivors include 1 Son: Bayless E. and Carolyn Buck of Gainesboro, TN; 4 Grandchildren: Randy (Mary) Buck, Mark (Lila) Buck, Margie Murphy, and Russell (Kendra) Buck; 4 Great - Grandchildren: Brittany Murphy, Dustin Buck, Tyler Murphy, and Rachel Buck; 2 Brothers: Eber Phillips of Midway, Ohio, and Norval L.
