Funeral services for Mr. Oliver Hall Jr., 81, of the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery in the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3 P.M. - 9 P. M., and on Tuesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN. He was born February 19, 1933, in Jackson County, TN, to the late William Oliver Hall and Nannie May Hawkins Hall. On October 29, 1956, he was married to Frances Hall, who survives. He was a retired maintenance supervisor at Twin Lakes Telephone Co., and a member of the Flynns Creek Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Durell Hall; 1 Sister: Merlene Maxwell; and an infant brother and sister. Survivors include his Wife: Frances Hall of the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN; 2 Sons: Kevin Oliver Hall of Nashville, TN, and Kelley Lloyd Hall of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Grandson: Keanuo Storm Hall of the Flynns Lick community of Jackson County, TN; 1 Step-Grandson: Devyn Sparks of Baxter, TN; 2 Nephews: Larry Maxwell and Tony Maxwell; and 2 Nieces: Patricia Baldruff and Teresa Lewter. Several great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Mike Fox will officiate at the services.
