Norma Kemp Watkins

Norma Kemp Watkins was born on November 10, 1931 in Jackson, TN and she passed away at Alive Hospice in Nashville on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the age of 93.

Norma was the daughter of Irvin Elmo Kemp and Mary Irene Martin Kemp.  She retired as a switchboard operator for Bell South Telephone Co.  She was a resident of the Moss Community of Clay County.  

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe Ed Watkins, daughters, Vickie Watkins, Susan Watkins, sister Joan Rives, brothers, Bobby Kemp and Johnny Kemp.

Survivors include her son Joe Watkins of Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Lauren (Luke) Birdwell of Moss, TN, grandchildren Trevor Newsome and Levi Newsome along with several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.   Other relatives and friends also survive.
