N.J. Mason,

Graveside services for Mr. N.J. Mason, Jr., 67, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Sunday, May 29, at the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 - 9 P.M., and Sunday from 12 noon - 1:30 P.M. at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Mr. Mason passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2005, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born November 19, 1937, in Spring Hill, Louisiana, to the late Noah Mason and Ona Hensley Mason. On January 22, 1965, he was married to Bonnie Sue Bennett Mason, who survives. Mr. Mason was a truck driver and mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Kirk Bennett; and 1 brother-in-law: Ottis Millsaps. Survivors include his wife: Bonnie Sue Bennett Mason of Cookeville, TN; his mother-in-law: Edith Bennett of Whitleyville, TN; 4 Sisters & 3 Brothers-in-Law: Wanda & Richard Stafford of Gainesboro, TN, Fran & Walter Davis of Gainesboro, TN, Linda Millsaps of Whitleyville, TN, Jo Helen & Litton Birdwell of Bloomington Springs, TN; and a special pet: Sandy.
