Nicky Tate

Nicky Tate was born October 27, 1979, in Cookeville, TN, and she passed away at her residence in Gainesboro, TN, on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the age of 42. She was the daughter of Elaine West Tate and the late Terry Tate. On August 6, 2021, she was married to Sharolyn Blake-Tate, who survives. She was a factory worker in the auto industry. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather: Robert Lee West; and Paternal Grandparents: JB Tate and Bonnie Jackson Tate. Survivors include her Spouse: Sharolyn Blake-Tate of Gainesboro, TN; Son: Buddy Ray Blake of Kingman, AZ; Brother: Terry Adam (Heather) Tate of Culleoka, TN; Nieces: RoseMarie and Isabella Tate, both of Culleoka, TN; Nephew: Sebastian Tate of Culleoka, TN; Mother: Elaine West Tate of Gainesboro, TN; and Maternal Grandmother: Juanita West of Gainesboro, TN. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Fox officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 12 Noon - 2 P.M. The family has chosen cremation. Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral expenses by contacting the funeral home.
