Funeral services for Mr. Nelson Myers, 63, of Gainesboro, Tennessee, will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow at the Flatt - Woolbright Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 P.M. - 9 P.M., and Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. He passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014, at his residence. He was born February 20, 1951, in Putnam County, TN, to Hugh Myers and the late Mary Ruth Brown Myers. He was employed by Bonnell for 44 years, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Mary Ruth Brown Myers. Survivors include his Father: Hugh Myers of Buffalo Valley, TN; 4 Daughters: Kim Silcox and Jeff Barrett of Pleasant Shade, TN, Carrie Myers of Carthage, TN, Sheri Satterfield of Nashville, TN, and Janelle Myers of Gainesboro, TN; Surviving Mother of Janelle: Sharon Fox of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren: Christopher Tr Gammons, Kielie Shae Barrett, and Kayla Grace Barrett; 3 Brothers: Wayne (Marlene) Myers of Shelbyville, TN, Kenny (Tabitha) Myers of Ashland City, TN, and Dale (Gail) Myers of Baxter, TN; and Cherished Friend: Wanda Fox Lynn of Gainesboro, TN.
