Nell "Fowler" Haney

Funeral services for Mrs. Nell "Fowler" Haney, 77, of Gainesboro, TN, will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Anderson - Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery in the Center Grove community of Jackson County, TN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until time of services. She passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born January 17, 1940, in Gainesboro, TN, to the late Jonah R. Smallwood and A.V. Smallwood. On June 28, 1957, she was married to the late KB Haney, who passed away on August 24, 2003. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Brother: James Smallwood; and 4 Sisters: Joy Ann Smallwood, Jerline Stafford, Mary Nell Flatt, and Juanita Smallwood. Survivors include 2 Sons: Kenny Haney of Gainesboro, TN, and Jerry (Lisa) Haney of Gainesboro, TN; 3 Daughters: Carol Wilson of Gainesboro, TN, Connie (Ronnie) Garrett of Liberty, TN, and Chrissy (Ricky) Bailiff of Liberty, TN; 1 Brother: Roy (Betty) Smallwood of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Sisters: Anna (Roy) Flatt and Linda (Royce) Jenkins, all of Gainesboro, TN; 8 Grandchildren; and 6 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends also survive. Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Mike Fox will officiate at the services.
